About Angela Harris

Angela, born and raised in Santa Fe, was first introduced to Earth Care as a student at St. Mike’s High School when she participated in Earth Care’s first program – a summer youth garden on the EcoVersity campus. She later returned work for Earth Care in 2008 first as an administrative assistant and now as a key member of our Leadership Team. Angela received her B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz, where she coordinated the Waste Prevention Campaign of the Student Environmental Center and also served on the Campus Sustainability Council Steering Committee. She has been involved in educating students about composting, waste reduction and recycling since 2003.
