Thank you to everyone who joined us last Sunday for the PozÓrale event!

Around 250 members of our community came through Cesar Chavez Elementary School to taste pozole, chat with amazing community organizations, paint with Alas de Agua Arts Collective, listen to amazing musicians and spoken word artists! Below are some of the photos. You can see the full photo album on Facebook.

As the smell of pozole wafted in the air in Cesar Chavez Elementary School's gym, families watched baile folklorico and bands like Trio Latino and Rumelia Collective. Over 20 community members brought their beloved recipes to be tasted and admired by a diverse panel of judges. Three members of our awesome community led the way to land in the top three pozole all day.

Congratulations Arecely, Mariela and Nidya!
