Miriam Luevano joined Earth Care's Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors training years ago as a participant and then quickly joined the team as a facilitator. She has been a member of Poder Familiar for 5 years. She started taking the Abriendo Puertas course and that opened the way for her to study early childhood education. She is pleased to help her community and help parents who are looking for tools and skills to gain better parenting skills for their children and their family. She was born in Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua. She has called New Mexico home for over 17 years now. She is currently a teacher's assistant in a preschool, coordinator and has been a facilitator of Abriendo Puertas for about 4 years. She is a mother of three beautiful children. Her favorite hobbies are traveling and walking with her family, reading and walking through natural places.​
