We wanted to remind you of the important opportunity for you tonight to get informed and get involved. We invite you to join us for our Spanish-first, bilingual candidate forum from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Zoom.
We will be asking candidates about critical issues such as protecting our communities from hate and government-sanctioned kidnappings and equitable community development. This event is open to all whether you speak English or Spanish, whether you are voting or not.
Our organizing doesn't stop at the voting booth. We can make a difference far beyond elections, but we must be informed and engaged first.

Our communities matter.
As we face unprecedented threats from the federal government and disinvestment and inequity in our own city, it's important now more than ever to mobilize and demand leaders who will fight for the safety and development of our communities. This is no longer about filling pot holes and building parks. Our lives depend on it.
Join us TONIGHT from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Zoom for our Spanish-first candidates forum! Our forum will be primarily conducted in Spanish with English interpretation to prioritize the needs of our Spanish-speaking, immigrant community on the Southside, but it is open to all!
It doesn't matter if you're not planning on voting or are not able to. This election will dramatically impact our future – and there's more ways to organize and make change beyond the voting booth. We hope you join us for this important event to get informed and get involved.
In the meantime, you can read our candidate questionnaire with responses from the candidates who will be present tonight on critical issues such as housing, development, immigrant safety and youth leadership development. See you tonight!
Tenemos una importante oportunidad para que se informen y participen esta noche. Los invitamos a unirse a nuestro foro de candidatos bilingüe, en español, de 6 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. por Zoom.
Preguntaremos a los candidatos sobre temas cruciales como la protección de nuestras comunidades contra el odio y los secuestros auspiciados por el gobierno, y el desarrollo comunitario equitativo. Este evento está abierto a todos, hablen inglés o español, voten o no.
Nuestra labor organizativa no termina en las urnas. Podemos marcar la diferencia mucho más allá de las elecciones, pero primero debemos estar informados y comprometidos.

Ya no se trata de rellenar baches ni construir parques. Nuestras vidas dependen de ello.
¡Únase a nosotros ESTA NOCHE de 6 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. por Zoom para nuestro foro de candidatos que prioriza el español! Nuestro foro se llevará a cabo principalmente en español con interpretación al inglés para priorizar las necesidades de nuestra comunidad inmigrante hispanohablante en el Sur de la Ciudad, ¡pero está abierto a todos!
No importa si no planea votar o no puede hacerlo. Estas elecciones impactarán dramáticamente nuestro futuro, y hay más maneras de organizarnos y generar cambios más allá de las urnas. Esperamos que nos acompañe en este importante evento para informarse y participar.
