Earth Care invites you to our Energy Democracy & Justice Convergence on MLK Day, January 16, 2023, and our Mass Mobilization event on the following day when the New Mexico Legislative Session begins on Jan 17, 2023.
The Energy Democracy & Justice Convergence will convene members of the climate and environmental justice movement to deliberate about the principles, frameworks, opportunities, and priorities ahead of the legislative session. We are concerned that we have less than ten years to act and that to do so – we need to work together to build power and work against forces that aim to co-opt and divide or marginalize us – and get clear about what we are working FOR. We want to bring folks together to learn from each other, share strategies, and take action!!!
The Convergence will be run as a zoom event.
Our mass mobilization day is a call to action. Join hundreds of youth and allies as we rally and demand urgent action on climate in this session. Invite your friends to participate and join us as we show our collective power.
